Spam and fediverse

🤔 I'm an administrator of a big Mastodon instance and in the last year spam is becoming a real issue even for the fediverse. As the last is getting new users, malicious actors are targeting servers and individuals more often than in the past.
Instances with outdated version of Mastodon, lack of administration and wrong security settings are literrally honey for those bad guys.
